Happy New Year!
Our work on financial education in rural Chaco, Argentina, has made incredible progress. We can’t wait to share what we’ve learned and what’s been possible thanks to your donations.
A Participative Diagnostic Exercise in the “El Impenetrable” in Chaco, Argentina
Three members of Nuestras Huellas (Paz, Mai, and Ivi) traveled to “El Impenetrable” in the northern Argentine province of Chaco. Alongside two local organizations, we sat down with seven different groups of women to listen and learn.
Our goal was to understand their lives and needs without imposing existing systems. We knew it was essential to approach this work with openness and respect.
What We Learned:
Next Steps: Planning Trainings
This diagnostic trip confirmed a strong synergy between Nuestras Huellas and our partner organizations in Chaco. We’re eager to collaborate with these communities, which have a unique culture and rhythm of life compared to Buenos Aires.
Our next step is to design training cycles tailored to their needs. We’ll adapt our existing materials based on what we’ve learned and coordinate with our partner organizations to plan the next trip and carry out these trainings.
How You Can Support Us
If you’d like to donate to support our next trip to Chaco, we’d love your help! Even by reading and learning about our work, you’re contributing to our mission.
Thank you for following along and supporting our work—and, by extension, these communities.
