As we move away from the urgency of the pandemic, we at Cimientos were able to conduct a more in-depth evaluation of the impacts of the Future Graduates program and we would like to share with you the findings.
The young people accompanied by Cimientos:
Linear trajectories: from the accompaniment of Cimientos, there is an increase in the. opportunities for timely and effective graduation increase by 47% in vulnerable populations. vulnerable populations.
Greater adaptation to secondary school: participants develop skills that favor a better adaptation to school. Responsibility, organization and planning and self-esteem are the main socio-emotional skills developed by students accompanied by Cimientos.
Life project: 75% of the graduates accompanied by Cimientos are continuing their education in higher education and/or working in formal employment. The remaining 25% continue to be accompanied in their transition to the adult world.
Cimientos in numbers
During these 24 years, 15,324 students received a scholarship to complete their high school studies and 443 young people received a university scholarship. In the last 3 years, 3937 young people received job placement opportunities, training and guidance in higher education. 8,231 companies and individual donors have supported the organization.
