Finish school, create future

In Argentina, the school year is coming to a close. Teachers are handing in the final grades for each subject and students are graduating, starting their holidays, or preparing for the subjects they must take for the following year. At Cimientos, the scholarship renewal stage is beginning, a crucial moment to define whether we will be able to accompany more students and provide them with more tools and better opportunities in more areas of the country, with a view to a more federal program. 

Also, in this last part of the year, we carry out several events with the students that are in their last years so they can get to know a university and/or a workplace. When students are close to their graduation in Cimientos we work on a life plan, which is searching and finding a university or college degree that interest them, putting them in contact, and accompanying them to take this decision based on personal skills and the possibilities to reach this aim. Also, we make alliances with companies where the students can get to know a workplace, talk with the employees, and receive curriculum training.

Our support makes a difference: the chances of graduating on time have increased by 47% among vulnerable populations, which is why we invite you to join us so that young people from vulnerable populations can have a better passage through school, effective graduation, and a projection of life in the future. We are proud to tell you that 75% of the graduates accompanied by Cimientos continue studying and/or working.
