People affected by one of the worst flood in the history of Pakistan are facing shortage of food. In response, SDA focused on two village of tehsil Rojhan, district Rajanpur where food bags were distributed among the 500 flood affected families. One bag contains flour, cooking oil, Rice, Lentils, Tea, Sugar, Jam-i-Shirin (Drink), Soap and Cloth Cleaning Powder. The Ration is for 45 days for an average family of 8 persons.
Volunteers of SDA visited the villages and prepared lists of flood affected families. Keeping in view the dignity and self-respect of the families, these food bags were distributed at doorstep of the families.
Keeping in view the upcoming winter season, SDA is preparing 500 more food bags to be distributed in the same area.
