Food is a basic source of Warmth

By Radwa Khairy | project leader

At the Egyptian Food Bank, we believe that food is not just nutrition—it is dignity, security, and warmth. Through our program “Food is a Basic Source of Warmth,” we aim to ensure that families facing food insecurity can meet their most essential needs and experience the comfort of knowing they are not alone.

Over the past months, your support has helped us:

Distribute hot meals to:
- individuals unable to prepare food themselves, especially the elderly and people with health challenges.

- vulnerable families living under difficult economic condition

Reach remote and underserved areas where families often struggle to secure their daily meals.

Thanks to your generous contributions, thousands of families experienced not only the nourishment of food but also the emotional warmth of community support. For many, these meals meant the difference between going to bed hungry and sharing a warm meal with loved ones.
