Growing seed crops
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project providing food and emergency help to internal refugees. Internal refugees are people who leave their homes because of threats to their lives and livelihoods in their own places. For example internal conflict with the government and people outside the law causes people to move-out and seek safer places. Food during this time is scarce and during this reporting period we focus our work to grow crops for their seeds and planting materials that we can distribute to the displaced individuals. We used a 2 hectare land area in order to do this. Aside from internal refugees we will open the facility for local farmers wanting planting materials to improve their farms. Hoping for your continuing help. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre

Home-gardening for internal refugees

Home-gardening support
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project providing food to internal refugees. The sporadic and long-lasting communist insurgency in the countryside coupled with climate change and the difficulty in doing agriculture fuels the occurrence of internal refugees wherein local villagers transfer to a perceived more safer area or places where they can get livelihood in relative peace. This reporting period we promote one of our trademark approach which is home-gardening using available resources around the house to produce food for the family with the surplus for sale in the market for income. Aside from income and food source, gardening is a source of physical activity and productive work for the beneficiaries and this is also very important. This reporting period we are able to assist a total of 30 beneficiaries for this project and we hope to provide more support in the coming months. Again thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your support to our initiative providing much-needed resources for internal refugees. The cause of the influx of internal refugees is poverty especially in the uplands, internicine fighting with local insurgents and climate change issues. We are happy to report that despite challenges of funding support we are still able to implement this project by integrating them to our overall project activities. We are particularly encouraged by our capacity to increase farm production of farmers through training support and the provision of basic farming inputs such as organic fertilizer, seeds and small farming tools. This reporting period we are able to support 110 poor farming families by providing them with farming inputs. Your continuing help is much needed. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
