As part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the most vulnerable families in northern Syria, Saed Relief and Development implemented a food basket distribution project in Rahba Camp, benefiting 300 displaced families living under extremely difficult conditions.
The camp residents face harsh circumstances due to the loss of their main sources of income and the absence of basic life necessities. With the sharp rise in food prices and the lack of job opportunities, many families have become unable to secure their daily needs. This initiative was launched to ease their burden and provide them with a minimum level of food security.
The distributed baskets contained essential items such as flour, rice, bulgur, oil, sugar, and legumes—enough to cover the families’ needs for a reasonable period of time. Beneficiaries expressed their deep gratitude for this support, confirming that it helped them secure their daily meals and brought comfort to their children.
Saed Relief and Development emphasized that this project is part of a continuous series of humanitarian interventions aimed at strengthening the resilience of displaced families and alleviating their daily suffering amid increasing economic and humanitarian challenges. The organization also renewed its call to donors and supporters to continue their contributions, so that together we can meet the urgent needs of more vulnerable families in Syrian camps.
