Amid the ongoing tragedy faced by displaced families in northern Syria, securing daily food remains one of their greatest struggles. In Al-Harsh Camp, where people lack even the most basic necessities of life, a proper meal has become a distant dream for both children and adults.
In response, our teams carried out a food basket distribution project, reaching hundreds of displaced families in the camp. Each basket contained essential items such as flour, rice, sugar, oil, lentils, and other staples that allow families to endure and face hunger with dignity.
The scenes were deeply moving: children’s faces lit up with pure smiles at the sight of food bags, while mothers expressed heartfelt gratitude after struggling for so long to provide even a simple meal. For them, these baskets were not just food—they were a message of hope and reassurance that they are not forgotten.
Distributing food baskets in Al-Harsh Camp goes beyond humanitarian aid; it is an act of preserving human dignity and easing daily suffering. As needs continue to grow, standing in solidarity with these families remains vital—because every meal delivered is a step toward hope, resilience, and life.
