In the displaced camps of Deir Hassan, northern Syria, thousands of families continue to endure daily hardship — living between the cruelty of poverty and the struggle to meet their most basic needs. With the arrival of winter, their suffering has only deepened, as food becomes increasingly difficult to secure amidst high prices and scarce job opportunities.
In response, Saed Charity launched a humanitarian project to distribute food baskets to hundreds of vulnerable families across the camps, as part of its ongoing efforts to alleviate suffering and strengthen resilience. Each basket contained essential food items such as rice, sugar, oil, bulgur, lentils, pasta, tea, and flour—enough to sustain a family for an entire month.
The aid brought smiles to children’s faces and comfort to mothers’ hearts, offering a glimmer of hope in a time when security and stability are rare. Families expressed deep gratitude to all who contributed, emphasizing that humanitarian support remains their lifeline amid these harsh conditions.
Through this initiative, Saed Charity reaffirms its commitment to standing with displaced families, continuing its humanitarian mission to provide essential aid and uphold the dignity of those in need.
