Amid the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by displaced families in the Atmeh camps of northern Syria, Saed Charity implemented a new food basket distribution project to ease the suffering of thousands struggling daily with hunger and a lack of basic necessities.
Hundreds of families benefited from the distribution, receiving baskets filled with essential food items such as rice, bulgur, oil, sugar, canned goods, and flour—enough to cover a family’s needs for a suitable period. The process was carefully managed to ensure aid reached the most vulnerable, especially orphaned families, widows, and the elderly.
The smiles and tears of relief on the beneficiaries’ faces spoke volumes. For many, these baskets were more than food—they were a message of compassion and solidarity in a time of hardship. One recipient shared: “This is not just food; it’s a reminder that we are not forgotten.”
Saed Charity reaffirms its commitment to supporting displaced communities across northern Syria and continues to expand its humanitarian efforts to reach as many families as possible, believing that giving is the foundation of human dignity and hope
