Food Basket Distribution in Deir Ballut Camp
Amid the worsening humanitarian situation in northern Syria, thousands of displaced families continue to struggle in overcrowded camps. Deir Ballut Camp remains one of the most affected areas, where families live under harsh conditions with limited access to food and essential supplies.
In response, Saed Charity implemented a food basket distribution project to support the most vulnerable families in the camp. Each basket was carefully prepared to include essential items such as flour, rice, oil, sugar, pasta, and legumes—enough to sustain an average family for a period of time.
The distribution was carried out under the direct supervision of Saed’s field team to ensure transparency and fairness in reaching those most in need. The joy and gratitude on the faces of beneficiaries reflected the importance of this assistance, which brought relief and dignity to their lives.
This project played a vital role in enhancing food security and easing the financial burdens on displaced families who rely heavily on humanitarian aid. Saed Charity reaffirms its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities across Syria and calls on donors and partners to continue standing with those who depend on such lifelines for survival and hope.
