Thousands of families in northern Syria continue to face harsh humanitarian conditions, worsened by repeated displacement, lack of employment opportunities, and rising food prices. Under these circumstances, securing enough food has become a daily struggle for many vulnerable households.
As part of its ongoing commitment to food security, Saed for Relief and Development launched a food basket distribution campaign targeting camps and communities most affected by the crisis. Each basket contained essential items such as rice, flour, oil, sugar, legumes, and pasta—ingredients that help families meet their nutritional needs for several weeks.
This vital assistance helped ease the heavy burden on families living below the poverty line and fully dependent on humanitarian support. Beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation, noting that the food baskets arrived at a critical time when needs were increasing and purchasing power was rapidly declining.
Through this project, Saed aims to enhance the resilience of vulnerable households and provide a minimum level of food stability amid the ongoing hardships in the region. The organization continues to expand its relief efforts to reach as many families as possible and alleviate the impact of prolonged displacement and poverty.
