As part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support vulnerable families in Syria, Saed Relief and Development implemented a project to distribute 200 food baskets to the most in-need households across several affected areas facing severe economic and humanitarian challenges.
The project targeted families suffering from limited income sources, rising market prices, and difficulties in securing basic necessities. Beneficiaries were selected according to clear vulnerability criteria, taking into account household size, level of need, and special humanitarian cases such as widows, elderly individuals, and people with chronic illnesses.
Each food basket contained essential items sufficient to support a family for a reasonable period. The baskets included key staple products such as rice, bulgur, sugar, cooking oil, legumes, tomato paste, and other basic food supplies aimed at strengthening household food security.
The distribution process was carried out by trained field teams who ensured the operation was organized, respectful, and transparent. All stages were documented to maintain accountability and reinforce trust with donors and partners.
This initiative helped ease the living burden on 200 beneficiary families and supported them in meeting their basic food needs during extremely difficult circumstances. Many recipients expressed their gratitude for the timely assistance provided.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all generous donors and supporters whose contributions made this project possible. May your generosity be rewarded abundantly, and may we continue working together to serve vulnerable communities in Syria.
