Amid the challenging humanitarian conditions faced by many families in Syria, Saed for Relief and Development implemented a food basket distribution project aimed at alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable households. This initiative comes in response to increasing needs caused by economic decline and rising prices of essential goods, making access to daily food a major challenge for many families.
The food baskets included essential items such as rice, sugar, oil, lentils, bulgur, and pasta, sufficient to support a family for a reasonable period. Beneficiaries were carefully selected based on vulnerability criteria, focusing on widows, orphans, and the elderly.
Saed’s team ensured that the distribution process was carried out in an organized and respectful manner, preserving the dignity of beneficiaries. The process was conducted smoothly, with proper documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
This project helped ease the burden on beneficiary families and provided them with a sense of relief and temporary stability during difficult times. It also highlights the importance of humanitarian work in supporting affected communities.
Saed for Relief and Development extends its sincere gratitude to all contributors and reaffirms its commitment to continuing humanitarian efforts to support vulnerable populations across Syria.
