This project, launched by Mission Bambini in March 2026 in collaboration with local partner Annas Linnas, was created in response to the serious humanitarian crisis currently unfolding in Lebanon. The initiative operates in Mount Lebanon - Keserwan, Beirut and Zhale, providing essential assistance to those fleeing the conflicts. Beyond daily meals and drinks for refugees, we now provide medicine and clothing in three schools, plus mattresses and blankets for displaced families.
In recent days, thousands of families have fled air strikes in southern Lebanon, seeking refuge in Zahle, Beirut and Mount Lebanon. These areas lack sanitation, cooking facilities, and essential supplies, leaving families without medicine, clothing, or proper bedding in a desperate situation. For many children already scarred by poverty, this new displacement means facing hunger and instability with no resources. Without immediate intervention, their survival and future are at serious risk.
To address this crisis, Mission Bambini supports an expanded relief program across three key regions: providing food and beverages to refugees in Beirut (Tarik Aljadida and Kaskas), distributing medicine and clothing in three schools across Mount Lebanon (Ajaltoun and Hrajel), and supplying essential mattresses and blankets in Zahle. Beyond nutrition, this multi-sectoral aid restores dignity and hope to displaced families.
This intervention aims to preserve human dignity and social cohesion at a time of extreme fragility. By strengthening the response capacity of its local partner within the LEARN Network, Mission Bambini is helping to create a resilient support system that goes beyond immediate assistance. Ensuring healthy food and care for children means protecting their right to grow up with dignity, ensuring that even in the darkest moments they do not feel alone and can continue to dream of a peaceful future.
