Food for kids at school in Bosnia

As we welcome 2024, we at Charity Bosnian Kids want to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to you, our donors. Your generosity throughout the past year has been a vital source of support in our mission to care for and improve the lives of children in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Reflecting on Our Achievements
In September, our team visited the schools benefiting from our programs. These visits allowed us to see firsthand the impact of our work. We spoke with school directors and suppliers about maintaining affordable prices for school lunches, ensuring our initiatives remain accessible to all students. It was a heartening experience, reinforcing our commitment and understanding of the importance of our efforts.

• Financial Milestone: We are happy to share that we have successfully distributed €55,140 to nine primary schools.
• Daily Lunches at School: Current school year, our program reaches 408 children, providing them with daily nutritious meals. To ensure these lunches remained affordable, we actively negotiated lower prices for school lunches.
• Food Parcels at Home: 119 parcels were carefully assembled to provide essential nutrition, aiming to alleviate food insecurity and support the overall well-being of families outside the school environment.

As we look forward to another year, our commitment to these initiatives continues. Your support can help sustain and expand these programs, making a tangible difference in the lives of children and their families in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
