Prime Trust Expands Educational Outreach with New Evening School in Kolliyangunam
With deep pride and renewed dedication, Prime Educational and Social Trust has inaugurated a new evening school in Kolliyangunam, a rural village where access to quality education remains limited. This initiative reflects our steadfast commitment to bridging the educational gap and ensuring that no child is left behind due to poverty, distance, or circumstance.
The evening school is tailored to support children from marginalized communities, many of whom are first-generation learners. These students often face challenges such as lack of academic support at home, engagement in household or labor activities during the day, and limited access to basic educational resources. Our evening classes are designed to provide remedial education, homework assistance, and foundational learning in core subjects such as Tamil, English, Mathematics, and Science.
As a gesture of encouragement and practical support, Prime Trust distributed essential study materials, including notebooks, pens, pencils, and learning aids, to all the children attending the program. These resources not only alleviate the financial burden on families but also symbolize the start of a hopeful educational journey.
The launch event was met with enthusiastic participation from local families, volunteers, and community leaders, who expressed their appreciation for the positive impact this program is expected to have on the village’s youth. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our donors and supporters, whose generous contributions have made this initiative possible.
Looking ahead, Prime Trust aims to expand this model to other underserved areas, with the vision of creating a network of evening schools that can reach hundreds more children across the region. With consistent community engagement, trained educators, and strategic partnerships, we are confident that this initiative will help transform lives and uplift entire communities.
We invite individuals, organizations, and institutions who share our passion for education to join hands with us. Together, we can empower children with knowledge, inspire dreams, and build a more equitable future.
