Daily, there are new cases being reported of COVID19. The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has recommended wearing masks in crowded and enclosed spaces, as well as in healthcare facilities, and has issued guidelines for the period up to April 30 taking into account the current trend of Covid-19 cases in the country, accordingly to Pakistan Today March 19, 2023 edition.
Despite our best hopes, this is one pandemic that has not fully gone away. This affects health, quality of life and of course livelihood. Food rations can be literally lifesavers and we've been distributing them, thanks to your generosity.
There are families that have complete dependency of these, and especially as Ramadan, the month of fasting starts in the next few days, the need is great for such substance to help families through the mandatory religious fasts.
Your generosity and donations have been so impactful, feeding families that have noble intent to work and earn money, but due to circumstances beyond our control, were not during this time able to earn a living.
Ramadan is starting and Easter soon will be upon us. We are currently fundraising for these times were people need the rations more. We have a waitlist of 1500 families.
