We distributed food rations to more than 300 Christian families in Brohi Goth, Sindh, who had had their homes demolished due to encroachment and during this return of Covid times have lost their jobs.

These devastated and struggling families spread smiles and prayers as they stood in line to received food ration boxes that would feed a family of six up to 2 weeks.

Our team meet every single one of the 300 families, as well as toured the area which was about 1 hour and 45 min from DHA Karachi. We also visited the charpais (hammocks) most were sharing and sleeping on, in open air or under makeshift cloth partial covers.

This was all during the torrential rains that were flooding roads and compromising not just physical safety, but bringing flies and creatures out into an open that was not the homes of these families.
