Uganda has gone through three waves of Covid 19 that has significantly affected the poor familes and provision of other health services. The world has now come to a common position that one of the strategies to control Covid 19 is through vaccinations. Africa was lagging behind with limited doses of Covid 19 vaccines being recived mainly throgh donations and he COVAX facilty. In Uganda most of these vaccines were administers in the urban areas leaving the hard to reach communities vulnerable. We devised innovative approaches of reaching the rural communities through mobile clinics. Our team has so far admistered more than 10 doses and we have also integrated immunization of other childhood deseases like polio measles etc because we found out that many children were lagging behind from their immunization schedules. We have plans to integrate examination of pregnant mothers family planning and eventually provide general healthcare to the poor rural communities through the mobile clinic approach. We thank all the people who have contributed to this projecta and we still appeal for more support in order to increase the coverage.
