Forests4Water Brazil: Community Climate Action

We want to express our profound gratitude for your generous support for this meaningful initiative. Thanks to your contribution, we are making remarkable strides in the restoration and preservation of our precious Atlantic Rainforest.

In our journey to enrich our planting areas and, thus, strengthen our fight against climate change, we embarked on the collection of jequitibá seeds. However, this task is no ordinary one, as jequitibá trees are majestic and gigantic.

To collect the seeds from these towering trees, we needed to employ special equipment and rely on the expertise of our collaborators. This operation involved the use of seed-collecting devices that reach the high canopies of the trees, allowing us to obtain the precious jequitibá seeds. It was a challenging but essential task for our goal of enriching the planting areas.

The significance of this undertaking goes beyond the act of collecting seeds. By planting these seeds and allowing the jequitibá trees to grow, we are making a significant contribution to carbon capture and improving air quality.

As we all know, forests play a vital role in climate stabilization and biodiversity conservation. Therefore, the support to this project is directly tied to our ability to address the threats of climate change.
