Dear Donors and Supporters
Another three months have passed and it's time to provide you with feedback regarding the progress of our project.
As you may know, most of our effort is based on voluntary work, on people who dedicated their time and skills to support our cause. Of course this can only be limited as the volunteers have their own lives and families and have to earn their living. Hence our progress is not as fast as it could be. More effort - and results ! - are mainly dependent on financial support which would also allow trainer and volunteer part time engagement to become full time engagement.
It’s a shame the donations collected so far were rather small and a significant increase would be appreciated. Our special thanks goes to each one of you for donating and also to one special donor who donated a significant amount to give the project a push. We are very grateful to you all.

We managed to start two more classes in the cities of Dresden and Rosenheim and have touched 40 more people. The courses and the inclusive follow-up sessions are very much welcomed by the participants. It needs quite some work to get the trust of the refugees and to work through the culturally different family setups ( we are talking mainly about people from Syria and Afghanistan), but once the ice is broken, it's a great joy to see and observe the blossoming of inner strength and confidence gained by our programs and their "integrative side-effects".
We are still suffering from the participants' concerns regarding their privacy (see also our remarks in the past project report) hence still no picture and video material available beyond what you can see at our website at www.iahv.de. The direct link has been added to our report.
We have started several attempts to contact governmental institutions in the different Federal States in Germany to present and offer our special approach in order to get our program integrated into already existing programs. The "walk through the institutions" isn't an easy and quite a complex one, but we are strongly inspired not to get easily disheartened.
We are now also trying to open new avenues in the refugee trauma relief area together with our sister organization IAHV Luxemburg (AIVH Luxembourg) which wants to join the cause.
