HRE Training with Ukrainian Refugees
HRE Training with Ukrainian Refugees
Dear Donors and Supporters

This is our third progress report for 2025

We keep on meeting two main challenges regarding our refugee work which concerns two groups of people who urgently need support through our programmes

- refugees from Ukraine who had to leave their country after the military invasion of Russian troops and an ongoing war in their country
- the still not ending stream of refugess from Africa and the Middle East, even though numbers getting less as shown by the recent EU report

After the end of the official project in January 2025, in order to maintain sustainability, we have continued our trauma relief work with our powerful tools - the HRE workshops and programs and with follow-up meetings for workshop and program graduates. Not only with Ukrainian refugees but refugees of all origin.

Especially in the Munich/Rosenheim area we keep on running our HRE workshops and programs still mainly with refugees from Ukraine.

See a few attached photos from different trainings held in the Munich/Rosenheim area.
The happy faces speak for themselves as those people could leave a big portion of accumulated trauma behind.
So far the news.
After the end of the EU co-funded project it has become more difficult to run these trainings as there are offered for free but still involve significant costs in administration, travel, location rent etc.
Hence our continued request for continuing and increasing the funding activities from our donors' and supporter's end.

Again a BIG THANK YOU for all your support !!
We will keep you posted on further developments.

We look forward to your ongoing support and would appreciate if you also continued talking to families and friends about our project to spread awareness of this important matter.

Best regards
IAHV HRE Germany Team
