Dear Donors and Supporters

This is our first progress report for 2026

We keep on meeting still challenges regarding our refugee work with people who urgently need support through our programmes,
mainly refugees from Ukraine who had to leave their country after the military invasion of Russian troops and an ongoing war in their country.

After the end of the official EU project in January 2025, in order to maintain sustainability, we have continued our trauma relief work with our powerful tools - the HRE workshops and programs and with follow-up meetings for workshop and program graduates. Not only with Ukrainian refugees but refugees of all origin.

Especially in the Munich/Rosenheim area we keep on running our HRE workshops and programs still mainly with refugees from Ukraine.

Unfortunately with the Middle-East in visible war and after-war crisis, the public attention has shifted there and the Ukraine war and its impact on people, even though sort of in front of the door, has moved into the background.

After the end of the EU co-funded project it has become more difficult to run these trainings as they are offered for free but still involve significant costs in administration, travel, location rent etc.

Hence our continued request for continuing and increasing the funding activities from our donors' and supporter's end.
