Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in the Free Medicines for Elderly and Orphans in Nigeria project. At the moment, no donations have been received, so the distribution of medicines and home visit support has not yet started.
In many low income communities, elderly people and orphans struggle to access even basic medical care. The cost of medicines continues to rise, and many are unable to travel to clinics due to distance or lack of support. As a result, common illnesses and long term conditions go untreated.
Conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, malaria, and infections can become serious when left unmanaged. For many of these individuals, there is no one to assist them, leaving them to cope with illness on their own.
This project is planned to provide free medicines and basic care through trained volunteers and local health workers. Home visits will allow early treatment of common illnesses and support for those living with long term health conditions.
With regular access to medication and care, many lives can be improved. Early support can reduce complications, limit hospital visits, and bring relief to people who would otherwise go without treatment.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this care can reach those who need it most.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
