As part of the implementation of the project "Free school fees for displaced children in Burkina Faso" for the benefit of internally displaced students removed from the street, Global NEEED Burkina organized from July 12 to 15, 2023, a study trip for their benefit. This study trip involved twenty best internally displaced students from the Lycée Moderne de l'Amitié in Ouahigouya. The destination was Bobo Dioulasso, a town located 560 kilometers from Ouahigouya, in western Burkina.
The young people visited in the city of Bobo Dioulasso, the Société de Filature du Sahel (FILSAH), the Guinguette, a natural body of water forming a kind of swimming pool, the train station (SITARAIL), the Mausoleum of Princess Guimbi Ouattara and the Municipal Museum Sogossira Sanon
This outing was fruitful for these students. They were amazed by what they were able to discover and learn about these different sites visited. In addition, most of these students are discovering the city of Bobo Dioulasso and especially the capital Ouagadougou for the first time. We can therefore imagine the great joy that animates them on their return to Ouahigouya
