Faced with the large number of children on the streets, Global NEEED Burkina, whose main activities are focused on the education of school-age children, has taken care of three hundred and twenty-five (325) children. These children are enrolled in the city's schools and have each received school kits consisting of books, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, bags, and solar lamps.
Thanks to the constant supervision of Global NEEED Burkina and the support of the teachers, all students have achieved satisfactory grades and are moving up to the next grade. We are also recording good percentages for the Primary School Certificate (CEP), with a rate of one hundred percent (100%).
The alliance between Global NEEED Burkina and GlobalGiving in support of education for all has helped reduce the number of children on the streets, alleviate financial pressure, strengthen the sense of security and hope, improve the psychological well-being of parents, and encourage involvement in their children's education.
The representative of the Ministry of Primary Education in the North region and the parents of students repeatedly express their thanks to Global NEEED Burkina, which strives to provide ongoing support to ensure access to education for all children.
