Mama Dragons is going back to Pride celebrations this year! Queer people who come from non-affirming homes need to be reminded that they are LOVED, and that there is hope for a better future. Mama Dragons is known for our fierce advocacy for our LGBTQ+ children (of all ages) to have loving, affirming homes. We frequently are asked for HUGS while we are out and we are almost always willing to give those as well as the physical reminder in the form of one of our Embracelets. Embracelets remind people that someone put time, energy, and care into making sure they know that they are seen, they are worthy, and they are loved.
In this moment, it can also signify in a quiet way by wearing one, that YOU offer a safe space for people to be who they are and love who they love without judgment.
"I have been giving them to people in the LGBTQ+ community who could use a Mama Dragons hug. I also gave some to my daughter to gift to her LGBTQ+ friends. My husband is taking several to a Pride Flag raising ceremony, to give to the government officials and employees with whom he will be meeting. They have tags on them stating that they're called Embracelets because they're hugs from a Mama Dragon."
By donating, you support makers to reach our goal of giving out 20,000 Embracelets this year. That is a lot of love put out into the world!
