Spring is just around the corner and so are our next Fruit Tree 101 projects! We will be traveling to Uganda in a few short weeks for the sixth year in a row to plant tens of thousands of trees including at schools and low-income families' homes.
Fruit trees for students in Uganda are a critical part of our approach to supporting increased access to healthy family nutrition in the region. We are very proud of the work we have already achieved here, with stories of students lining up several times a week to receive fresh fruits from their schoolyard orchards and of high school students being inspired to create climate-related initiatives to bring attention to the need to replant their country's trees.
Thank you for your continuing support of Fruit Tree 101 and our work to make sure every student around the world has access to fresh, healthy nutrition and environmental education!
To a fruitful future,
The FTPF team
