Your contributions have helped us offer life-saving medical treatment, post-burn care, and emotional rehabilitation to survivors who otherwise would not have had access to these essential services. Severe burn survivors in Pakistan face not only physical pain but also emotional trauma and financial hardship. Through Dawood Global Foundation’s Embers of Empowerment initiative, we have provided critical medical treatment, reconstructive surgeries, psychological support, and vocational training to burn victims, helping them regain confidence and independence. Many survivors, often women and children, have been given a second chance at life, thanks to the generosity of our donors.

Beacon of Recovery Project

Project Report: "Beacon of Recovery Project" – Supporting Burn Victims’ Futures
Through the Dawood Global Foundation’s "Beacon of Recovery Project," we have supported courageous burn survivors like Ayesha, who was severely injured when a pot of boiling water fell on her in 2021 in Lahore. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to cover the expenses of her multiple surgeries, ensuring she received the best possible care. Beyond medical assistance, Ayesha has received vocational training in jewelry making, and we gifted her a starter kit to help her begin creating retail pieces. This has provided her not only with a purpose but also with the tools to become financially secure.
Your support has played a vital role in transforming Ayesha’s life, empowering her to overcome her past and look forward to a hopeful future. With continued assistance, we aim to extend similar support to other burn victims, providing medical care and vocational training to rebuild lives.
