Last year was a historic year! Everything came to a standstill including schools. Everything changed and there was a reason to worry. This affected many learners and was worse for the vulnerable children. All in all, we are happy to report that all our children are safe and healthy. COVID cases were reported in our villages but we are glad non was affected.
The schools were reopened and learning is back to normal. We are keeping safe, learners wearing their masks all the time, washing of hands, and keeping distance. It's not easy but we are trying our best.
The music class is back! We have a new teacher and an assistant to help because of the large number of learners. We didn't want to disappoint them but with time we will come out with a few who are talented. We have three categories, band, gospel dance, and traditional dance. Some of the dances are instrumental.
The band is not equipped fully, we are missing the most important instruments to make it complete. We need two more keyboards and we will be fully equipped. We are very grateful to those who enabled us to start this program, you can't help to see the happiness and excitment at the school during the music sessions. Everyone wants to come and see, students pushing each other, trying to peep from the windows, teachers everywhere to cheer the dancers.
Kindly share with friends and family members to support the good cause you have started. Thank you.
