Beginning in 2000, Smiles Forever has served needy adults and children with free oral hygiene services, plus training indigenous women in the dental hygiene profession. We currently partner with 42 nonprofit organizations including orphanages, burn centers and shelters.
Our staff and volunteers change lives every day with their work in Bolivia. Our partners and others make this possible through invaluable help.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you that participated in some way in the activities of the Smiles Forever Foundation this 2021. Whether you are an active part of our various programs or share with us in the collection and donation of funds, we could not do what we do without you.
The assistance and funds you provide are essential to continue the crucial dental treatments we provided to over 1,800 impoverished children and adults last year and over 47,000 in the last 21 years of the foundation in Cochabamba, Bolivia. We hope that 2022 will be a better year for everyone, because although the pandemic is still a factor that hinders our regular operations, we have done everything humanly possible to work under a form of normality and continue to be that beacon of hope for those children at risk and who represent the most vulnerable sector of the population.
Looking forward to the new year in 2022, we will continue our scientific research project with Sliver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) amongst school-age children and venture further to prove that SDF actually can prevent caries in partnership with Universidad Privada Abierta Latino Americana (UPAL) and NoDK represented by Dr. Steven Duffin (a pioneer in the use of SDF).
New shelters, homes and centers will be added to the 42 that we already serve as the need continues to grow and accelerate due to this pandemic. In December 2021, we are holding meetings with several organizations that will join our already long list of beneficiaries.
Our projections include the goal of increasing the number of high-quality dental treatments free of charge by 30% in 2022. We will also strive to spread our successful SDF program to other schools in Cochabamba as a different approach to dentistry and preventative methods.
