It has been a quiet period in terms of fundraising in the UK and on the ground in Burkina Faso. Zoénabou explained that the country was hit by a major heatwave this season which has made things harder. The extreme heat in Burkina and across the region reached highs of over 45 degrees celsius leading to hundreds of deaths.
Compounding these difficult circumstances is the lack of funding for actvities that the co-operative & association are experiencing.
In the UK we are holding a church cake sale on the 27th June which did very well last year - we raised £200.
