During the year 2022 in Special Olympics of Chile we continue working to promote the full inclusion of people with ID.
Our commitment is to continue working for a more inclusive world, we still have a long way to go.During the year 2022, more than 3,000 children and young people with ID have participated in our programs. This year we expect more than 5,000 people with ID to do so.Our programs focus on the areas of: Health, sports, education and diversity and inclusion.
Also during the year 2022 we have developed the qualifying sports stages for the selection of the Chilean delegation that will represent our country in the next world games that will take place in Berlin during the month of June 2023.
Our challenges continue this year and we plan to extend our programs throughout the country to make inclusion an experience capable of creating more and more mentalities that think in a unified way.
