Safe spaces Female Mechanics continue to challenge gender stereotypes that this is a male Field.40 girls are pursuing certificate and diploma Automechanics course to secure their future and become self reliant.Their dream of a better life for themselves and their Families is near reality after completing the course.
In a trade that is mainly male dominated,Safe spaces is creating visibility for these girls, building their self esteem and confidence and marketing their skills to the Automotive world.Since 2008,safe spaces has trained more than 70 girls and 90% are employed and living outside the slums.
