Meet Junita, a 14-year-old girl with dreams as vast as the sky. Junita's story is a testament to the power of resilience and the generosity of hearts that believe in a brighter future. Junita was born with congenital cataracts in both of her eyes. Her vision was clouded, like looking through frosted glass, but her spirit remained unbreakable. She's the only sister to three loving brothers, and her father, a hardworking painter, does everything he can to provide for their family.

Recently, Junita embarked on a life-changing journey. Thanks to the incredible support of LRBT, she underwent successful cataract surgery in her left eye. As she awoke from the surgery, the world around her transformed. For the first time, she saw the vivid colors, the intricate details, and the smiles on her family's faces. It was a moment of sheer wonder and gratitude.

Now, Junita eagerly awaits her turn for surgery in her right eye, a journey that holds the promise of an even brighter future. She can't wait to dive into her books and continue her education with a renewed sense of purpose and determination.

Junita's story is a testament to the hope that LRBT brings to countless lives. The support and generosity of donors like you have made it possible for her dreams to come true. Every contribution, no matter how small, plays a significant role in transforming lives like Junita's.

LRBT is happy to report that in 2022 LRBT treated over 260,000 children free of cost.

Join us in making a difference. Donate to LRBT and light up the path to a brighter future for countless children. Your generosity changes lives, one eye at a time.
