The Virgin Island's #1 Girl Band, Island Girl Swagg, was listed on the roster of highly celebrated performers to entertain the crowd gathered for St. John's annual Relay for Life fundraiser on Saturday, February 2, 2012.
The band was excited and well-received by the local crowd, who gathered specifically to see them perform. The performance was the culmination of several months of training including: vocals, dance, and stage presence. In addition to three band performances, each member of girl band performed individually.
Island Girl Swagg members are: Lioness Bruce, Ayana Coleman-Dixon, Alahna Lopez, and Emeline Reynoso.
Girl Band members will work on new skills such as dance, vocal coaching, and instrumentation, along with a new playlist of songs to perform. Sisterhood Agenda's Girl Band webisodes, currently being edited, will be launched next month. Girl Band webisodes teach life lessons as they document the inception of Girl Band, band members, and their development up to the present.
