Girl Band members completed street performances in Franklin Powell Park in preparation for their next phase of development. Public presentation and overcoming stage anxiety were highlighted during the last two sessions.
Unfortunately, one of the Girl Band members, Alahna, moved away. Girl Band will hold auditions during the summer to add 2 new members to the group.
This week, Girl Band members will gather in Cruz Bay, St. John, to discuss next steps. They will receive their Girl Band posters and Sisterhood Agenda t-shirts.
Due to a generous local sponsor, the girls have resources to receive vocal coaching, professional choreography, and instrumentation instruction. This summer, they will seek resources to assist them in these development tasks. They will also engage in future fundraisers to raise funds and raise public awareness about their group.
Girl Band is looking forward to future bookings in the Virgin Islands.
