Last week, the Kasiisi Project health team went to Rutooma Primary School to hold RUMPS (reusable menstrual pads) training with twenty girls, five boys and five teachers. This group will be the future trainers of RUMPS at this rural school. They will spread their knowledge to other students, teachers and community members. Students and teachers worked together in three groups to make a complete RUMP ! Great job Rutooma.
Additionally, the Kasiisi Project health team just held a meeting with school representatives, representatives from local clinics and village health teams to plan the girls health programs for 2018. The meeting was a success with lots of ideas, collaboration and exciting projects to come.
