Hi Donors!
Amazing News: This past year, the top three performing students at the Kasiisi schools were GIRLS. It's so wonderful to see the gap between girls' and boys' results narrowing so rapidly. The younger girls have role models that show that girls can be truly successful.
Quick update on myself: In two days I am moving to Port Elizabeth, South Africa on a Fulbright for the year...but don't worry... I will continue reporting with updates from Elizabeth Ross (Kasiisi Executive Director) on all the wonderful things happening in Uganda. There may also be reports from various other Kasiisi staff members to help keep everyone up to date! At the rate we're going now, 2012 is going to be a very exciting year for Kasiisi.
