Each of these young women came to the Sandra Jones Centre broken and hopeless. All four had faced unimaginable horror after being sexually abused by friends and family. However, their futures are now secure and they know that they are safe and loved.
Randi, Bonnie, Sally and Sandra have all completed our vocational skills training program. All four excelled and for that reason were offered placements at the centre. And because they are doing so well we are now seriously contemplating employing them on a full time basis once their placements have finished.
Not only are they fully responsible for their greenhouses, they are also responsible for training our new students in greenhouse farming. Putting into the practice our “see it, do it, teach it” policy. We are very proud of these four your women and so grateful to AFCA for their generosity and support.
