Thank you for generously giving to our project, "Give 100 children in Angola the chance to go to school." Your partnership with RISE will give more kids the opportunity to receive a primary education.
RISE builds primary schools in rural Angola to educate children who have been affected by years of war and its aftermath. We target hard-to-reach, vulnerable and marginalized children, those living in poverty, those that face multiple barriers to education and deserve the basics that all children deserve - food, safety, health, clean water, and education.
We have a unique opportunity to construct 25 approximately new schools, giving 24,000 MORE kids access to education, through a matching co-funding partnership with Educate A Child (EAC). EAC is a global initiative launched by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser of Qatar, which aims to significantly reduce the number of children worldwide who are missing out on their right to education.
Your gifts to RISE, including those made through GlobalGiving, will contribute to the co-funding partnership to give MORE kids the chance to go to school. Thanks for your support!
