Dear friend,
Thank you for caring enough to learn about this project. No donations have been received yet, but we’re still pushing ahead with preparations. The people who will benefit have already been identified in several rural areas where access to medical care and eye testing is very limited.
Many Nigerians with albinism struggle with poor eyesight from birth. For those in rural communities, the situation is even harder because eyeglasses are expensive, and most have never been examined by an eye specialist. They often squint, strain to see, or stop schooling early because they can’t read the blackboard. This project is meant to change that story.
We plan to distribute prescription eyeglasses and offer brief vision checks to help them live more comfortably and confidently. Your future support will help provide clear sight to those who have lived too long in blur and struggle.
Warm regards,
Ugbede Ojo Dominic Kadiri
