Dear Friends,
In many communities, poverty turns a natural biological process into a barrier. For years, girls have been missing school during their periods, not because they wanted to, but because they had no access to sanitary pads. They used rags, leaves, or stayed home in shame, falling behind in class until many dropped out entirely.
But because of you, that story is changing.
With your generous support towards GABA HOPE FOR KIDS, we have been able to distribute menstrual hygiene kits to girls who once had nothing. Alongside the pads, we provide mentorship sessions where girls learn about their bodies without fear or embarrassment. They now walk to school with confidence, not anxiety.
The impact has been beautiful to witness. Some Girls who once hid during their periods are now attending class consistently. Some who had dropped out have re-enrolled, their dreams reignited. One girl told us, “I thought my future ended when my period started. Now I know it’s just beginning.”
You didn’t just provide pads. You provided dignity, education, and hope.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity to these girls. Because of you, their periods no longer define their potential.
