Thank you for changing the life of a mother in India! Your gift of a sewing machine and tailoring school has empowered women like Rajeswari to provide for her family.
Like many women in India, Rajeswari had a limited education and no job to support her family. She only went to school until the 7th grade and did not have many skills to pursue a good career.
“We had financial struggles and I needed a short training program to get a certificate so that I could get a good job. I was so excited when I got admitted to the tailoring school” says Rajeswari.
Because of your generosity and compassion, this past quarter Rajeswari and 84 other women learned how to make all kinds of clothing and are able to support their families. Learning how to sew changed her life. She is so grateful to you for her wonderful training.
