Anshika’s family has always valued education, though financial challenges have stood in the way. Her parents, who studied until the age of eight, work hard to support their children. Her father is a day laborer who fishes at a nearby lake when work is available, while her mother manages the household.
Anshika herself studied until the eighth grade but had to stop when money became tight. Despite this setback, her desire to learn never changed. She dreamed of gaining skills that could help her family and allow her to pursue her interests in sewing and beauty work.
When Anshika learned about our tailoring school through a friend, she was thrilled. She and her friend Ruby began attending together, and Anshika quickly immersed herself in learning. So far, she has mastered sewing baby frocks, bibs, simple frocks, and baba suits.
Her parents are incredibly supportive of her efforts. Anshika’s enthusiasm is evident. “Ma’am is a good teacher and teaches with a lot of love,” she shared. Her parents are equally proud, saying, “We have seen what Anshika has made, and we are very happy.”
This transformation would not have been possible without your generous support. You are empowering young women like Anshika to learn, grow, and dream big. Thank you for making a lasting impact on her life and her family’s future.
