“I was so happy I had the opportunity to go through the tailoring classes,” said Satyavathi.
Thank you for giving mothers like Satyavathi a free tailoring education. Because of you, Satyavathi was able to receive a treadle sewing machine along with a certificate of completion right after graduation.
Satyavathi used to face a lot of financial struggles in her family. Her husband was unable to find consistent work, which made it difficult to support their children.
When she was accepted into India Partners’ tailoring school she was so happy and excited.
“This training was a great blessing. I’m able to work and support my family,” said Satyavathi. “I’m grateful for your love and support.”
There are currently more than 60 women enrolled in the tailoring schools. Each batch of classes brings so much hope to these women. They know that once they graduate, they’ll have a skill they can use to help their families, and it’s all thanks to you!
