Aisha, just 5 years old, has been struggling as she suffers from mobility problems but her parents cannot place her in a special needs school. Her two older brothers try to play with her but she can't run fast enough to keep up with them, so they get bored with her and she starts to cry. She wishes she could meet other kids like her.
Smiles is creating a special musical play event to bring together special needs kids from deserving families so they can meet and form a support system for each other.
They want to give each child a teddy bear when they go home so they can have something to cuddle with and remind them of the fond memories of the day.
This event is taking place on Eid day - this Friday, 25th September 2015 in Karachi, Pakistan - a holiday commemorating the successful pilgramme of Muslims, as well as a father's love of his son.
We are having fun packing teddy bears and gift boxes for the children - thanks to donations from each of you.
We are 50 bears away from our dream goal of raising 100 teddy bears delivered to these special needs children from struggling backgrounds. Each teddy is just $10 or 6 pounds and they are truly bringing a smile to each child's face.
This Eid, help us bring smiles to the faces of those who need love.
Thank you!
