Haiya, 6, goes to school every day in a shared classroom with boys and girls of different ages. They learn together and everyone is really nice.
"I like my school," says Haiya, "I have many friends." 15 children fit in each room, sitting on the floor, with low tables, and learn.
"Say thank you,' teacher Zeynab tells Haiya as she is gifted a teddy bear.
"Thank you sooooo much,' says Haiya, "bohat shuriya."
"What a pretty hair style you have," I say, "I think I'm going to make it too."
Haiya smiles as she cuddles teddy. Today, has been a nice day and she has something to love
36 children were gifted teddies on this occasion, 3 also got storybooks and boxes of chocolate. There are 84 children studying at Aisha Tariq School, all very deserving and in need, many with special needs. Please do spread the word and help us give each child something to cuddle and love.
