Amid ongoing water shortages in displacement camps, Saed Charity carried out an urgent project to distribute clean, safe drinking water in Salam Camp, directly benefiting 150 families who have long struggled to secure enough water for daily needs.
Families in the camp face extreme difficulty accessing safe water, exposing children and the elderly to serious health risks and the spread of waterborne diseases. To address this crisis, Saed’s field team transported and distributed large water tanks, ensuring each household received an adequate supply for drinking, cooking, and basic hygiene.
The distribution process was carefully supervised to guarantee that every eligible family received their share. In addition, residents were given simple guidance on conserving water and keeping it clean. The attached photos capture heartfelt gratitude and the relieved smiles of families whose burden was eased—clear evidence of the direct impact of your generosity.
The need for similar interventions remains urgent across other camps and affected regions. Every drop of clean water means health, safety, and dignity for families who have endured displacement and hardship.
Your continued support enables Saed Charity to sustain these vital water projects, bringing hope and life to those who need it most. Together, we can ensure that no family in Salam Camp—or any other—faces thirst alone.
